Amthal Fire & Security is the fire safety partner of choice for Trinity Estates, currently looking after the fire requirements of properties maintained by the national property management company.
Trinity Estates, specialist in providing property management solutions to blocks of flats, residential estates and mixed-use developments of any size and complexity. With over 50,000 units managed, Trinity Estates is always looking for ways to help improve the energy efficiency, comfort, safety and security for its residents.
Working closely with Amthal Fire & Security, Trinity Estates needed to establish a maintained system that could secure residents in terms of fire safety systems, especially in communal areas, including all fire alarms, emergency lighting, automatic opening vents, dry -risers, sprinklers and associated services across its property portfolio in the south east.
Says John McDowall, Contracts Manager at Trinity Estates:
“As a responsible managing agent, we have a legal responsibility for the fire safety of our residents. Whilst this is a clear enough statement, the considerations and precautions to be taken are challenging due to the mixed tenure of property we look after.
“We found Amthal following an intensive search for a support supplier and have not looked back. Amthal’s team has proven to be responsive and always on hand to offer invaluable advice, right from site surveys through to ongoing planned preventative maintenance and emergency 247 on site demands and telephone support. So much so, from initial test sites, Amthal Fire & Security has grown to being one of our largest and most trusted suppliers for all processes involving fire & security.”
Phil Bryant, Service Accounts Manager at Amthal Fire & Security added:
“Right from our trial period with the properties specified, we developed a dedicated internal engineering and administration process bespoke to Trinity, to ensure we can achieve all operational requirements.
“By taking the time and resource out in the first place, Trinity has responded by increasing our property portfolio to manage. For Amthal Fire & Security, this is something we do as a matter of course, and we constantly review to ensure residents are always protected and managing agents such as Trinity Estates are fulfilling their legal duty.”

I'd like to thank you for the excellent assessment and quotation you produced for handling the fire system and maintenance in one of my tenanted properties. You carried out a full and comprehensive survey and came up with an excellent regime for all aspects of the fire safety in the house and all obviously to British Standard. I am absolutely convinced that you and your company are more than capable of handling this crucial aspect of the safety of this residence as well as any commercial premises you are asked to look at. I was particularly impressed by your professional and complete approach. I will do my best to look out for business for you among my contacts as I am completely convinced that you will do a great job and impress them considerably.

Amthal worked with InterServe during the pre-construction phase to advise the client on the alterations to reduce costs and provide an efficient system for management of the building. They have provided a high level of workmanship and have been very helpfully in providing advice and solutions where issues have occurred. We have found them to be a good value for money sub-contractor and would be happy to employ them on future projects.
