Amthal Fire & Security is CAMESAFE Accredited

Amthal Fire & Security is now registered with CAMESAFE for its gate and barrier automation and all associated installation services.

Came Safe is one of the UK's leading organizations that promotes the importance of gate safety.

The CAMESAFE Certificate, launched in 2011, covers the application of the Machinery Directive and EN Standards in relation to gate and barrier automation.

CAMESAFE installers, of which Amthal Fire & Security is now one, have verifiable evidence of their safe installation competency to help provide real confidence when choosing an automation installer.

Says Jamie Allam, Commercial Director at Amthal Fire & Security: “CAMESAFE is the first to highlight that the automatic gate, barrier and entrance way industry in the UK has every reason to be concerned with safety. Numerous unfortunate, avoidable accidents have made headlines in the past 5 years.

“For Amthal Fire & Security, achieving the standard was a natural step to cover our gates, barriers and bollard offerings and complement our third party accreditations already achieved. These are essential for us to maintain, not only from our work perspective, but also to provide unrivalled quality and our customers with ultimate peace of mind.”

Amthal Fire & Security is able to offer the complete range of gate automation systems alongside accessories required to suit individual requirements across public and private sector buildings.
