Amthal’s Young Ones Shine At Chamber Awards

Amthal is celebrating as Reece Paprotny has won the coveted “Young Employee’ Award at the St Albans District Chamber of Commerce Community Business Awards.

The local security team’s Finance Manager, who started at Amthal just two and a half years ago as an Apprentice, picked up the ‘Young Employee’ award following a unanimous vote from the judge’s for his commitment to the company and swift career development to management level.

Commenting on Reece’s success, Jamie Allam, Commercial Director at Amthal, said: “The Chamber Awards continues to evolve with the growing and vibrant landscape of the St Albans’ Business community. As a whole they showcase the exciting times ahead for us all, and the new categories celebrate these prospects.

“The Young Employee Award highlights how the younger generations are coming into the workforce with very different experiences and expectations for their career, not least in the adoption of latest innovations and different ways to communicate. The St Albans Chamber of Commerce Community Business Awards was established to celebrate excellence in the business community.

The Young Employee Award, sponsored by Oaklands College, showcased talents of an employee under 30 in the business that has made outstanding achievements and impact on the organization’s success.

Reece added: “It was so exciting even to be nominated and to reach finalist stage of the awards. To have won is thanks to the support of Amthal who have not only allowed me to grow from a career perspective but also have hugely helped me personally develop, always having time for discussions and taking on my suggestions to support business growth and its core mission, vision and values.”
