Established in 2000, Independently-owned fire & security company; accredited by SSAIB, UKAS & BAFE; Amthal Fire & Security has provided its clients with expertise, experience and personal styles of dedicated customer service and support, locally, regionally and nationally. A comprehensive portfolio of residential, commercial and major public sector customers which include hospitals, schools, national retailers, police, fire and ambulance services, together with private and industrial sector clients. We are specialists in the design, installation, maintenance and monitoring of advanced electronic fire & security solutions.

Our focus is a very personal, customised service, understanding personal and business needs, advising and designing the most appropriate systems. Installations are completed with minimal disruption while our after sales service team provide the highest quality maintenance, monitoring and 24hr technical support.

Amthal surveyors are trained to complete site risk assessment surveys in accordance with current UK and European standards. Since joining the European Union (EU) in the 1970’s, there has been a requirement to harmonise standards across the EU to remove the barriers to free trade. UK British Standards are gradually being replaced by European Norms (EN), which is the European equivalent. It is a requirement of our SSAIB, BAFE & UKAS accreditation that we comply with all current legislation within our industry.

Our differentiator is our service! We provide an extensive range of service, maintenance and support facilities including 24 hour monitoring via East Midlands Central Station (EMCS).

The site survey is used to assess our clients’ security requirements allowing us to produce a system design proposal. Installation options are considered with the priority to minimise disruption to the customer and make the systems as unobtrusive as possible. Following installation the system is commissioned and full training in its operation is provided. Our experienced team provides 24hr service and support with an extensive range of service, maintenance and remote monitoring packages.

Amthal Fire & Security work in partnership with EMCS the UK’s leading independent alarm receiving and monitoring station. EMCS are approved by the security industry governing bodies NACOSS (National Approval Council for security Systems) and BSIA (British Security Industry Association).

All our service, maintenance and monitoring contracts include 24 hour on site support with periodic preventative service inspections of the systems.

Amthal's team of surveyors and system design engineers include individuals with industry experience of over 20 years combined with technology specialists who's purpose it is to keep up with the ever changing industry technology, products and integration.
